PMP is one of the official certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
PMP stands for Project Management Professional. Information on the certification can be obtained on PMI website.
As with any certification, you will have to work hard to obtain it. Not hard in the sense that it is very difficult, or impossible. Just hard because you will need discipline, a good workplan, and a precise execution of the plan.
And it is usually even more difficult when you are doing it while working full-time and also having a family and a life.
But don’t despair. Project management is a well-known field of work, and there are multiple sources of help available.
This is a good article from PM for the Masses on 21 actions you can take to get your PMP certification. I must say that following this article should help me focus and obtain my PMP faster. I have done so far 5 of the suggested actions.
Here’s my list of 21 actions you can take right now to get your PMP certification.
